2011 was a ‘new era’ of the USA Grand Nationals as Michael and Leann Norris take over
the production of the event. New divisions such as a Pro-Am division and separare novice, intermediate and advanced/all-star Jack-n-Jill were created. Professional lights were added and a formal entrance for competitors on stage were the physical changes, but the spirit of the event hasn’t changed – This event remains a place where dancers from swing and shag come together to enjoy their dance.
