thru current yearCraig Hutchinson sponsors this event in Virginia each year, with co-director Barry Durand joining him in 2005.
The 2005 event was more like most other competitions, with divisions of Lindy, West Coast Swing and Hustle. There were also Sophisticated divisions (35+ age group), and several Hustle divisions and a Cabaret division. See the web site below for the schedule. This is a great event tape and definetly worth while to add to our collection.
The entire weekends competition dancing's on DVD set is $80,

The competition format for years 2001 thru 2003 were different from most swing competitions but very
interesting.: There are four main styles of dance each
with their Amateur and Open divisions: Hand Dance, Lindy, West Coast Swing and
Hustle.

There is also a unique division call OVERALL. All
the different styles of dance for the Classic and Showcase divisions dance to
compete for an Overall Showcase and Overall Classic winner! This makes for very
interesting sight to see many different forms of dance on the dance floor at
the same time!
