Swingin’ New England 2002 thru current year
All
WCS and Lindy
Neal
Klien sponsors this fun event right on the Southwest corner of Cape Cod in the small town of Falmouth,. Not
only some great swing dancing, but a great place to spend a few days and see
the surrounding areas such as Woods Hole and beautifully restored lighthouses.
If you didn't make it to this event, you missed one of the most friendly and informal events in the country. This event is known for
Neil's wacky sense of humor and the "Painting on the Dancefloor" fun. Neil really makes dancers welcome
here with two free breakfasts and dinners included in his 3-day weekend pass. Moooooooo! (thats Neil in the cow outfit)
Bill
Cameron MC's this event with lots of West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop
dancing. Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Jack & Jills from both Lindy
and WCS, as well as Intermediate and Advance Strictly Swing from Lindy and WCS.
This
event also has Invitational Jack & Jill for both Lindy and WCS, and the
Saturday night (1am!) dance competition called the ‘Bookends’ – otherwise known
as a Jack & Jack and Jill & Jill. One of the highlights of the 2004
Bookends was John Lindo, Robert Cordoba, John Festa, Jason Colacino, Mario Robau and Angel Figueroa dancing
a Salsa number together - just hilarious! Then all of them draging (literally) the event director Neal Klien out to the dance floor
to be lead by each one was a huge crowd pleaser!
3-DVD set: $80 for each year. Each additoinal year is $10, $20 and $30 off, respectfully.
Please add $5 shipping to any one order.
