The atmosphere of this dance event is unique. It reminds me of a huge family getting together for lots of dancing fun instead of a competition. Very informal. No ties allowed!

The 2009 J&J Orama was the best yet, with over 600 participants. John Wheton, the event director, has grown this event from only 150 five years ago. Way to go John! Many divisions had over 40-50 dancers in them!

2007 - This year was well-attended and had many new dancers from around the world. This was an unexpected surprise, because traditionally this was a more 'local' event. The Strictly "A" was increadible, and the Champions Jack & Jill was a huge crowd pleaser. Overall John Wheaton did a great job of organizing and MC'ing this event. If you're looking for some great social-type dancing, this is the DVD set for you.

2004 and before:
One of the best events of West Coast Swing Jack and Jill Competitions- Divisions included are - All Time Greats, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, 50-60's Era, 70-80's Era, and 90-2000 Era, Invitationals, ProAm Male and Female, and a new event call All American, where any level dancer can dance with any other level dancer of any age range! Lots of great West Coast Swing dancing and ALL Jack & Jill! If you're looking for the best in social dancing at all levels of WCS this is it.

The 2002, 2003 and 2004 event took place at the Sheraton in Anaheim, California. A castle-looking hotel with a nice-sized ballroom and convenient to all local eateries and attractions. The 2001 event took place at the West Coast (pun intended) Hotel in Anaheim. You will definitely be able to steal some hot moves off of these DVDs! Lots of social dancing techniques can be had for these DVDs. No workshops were taped until 2006.

Recently we have transferred all the older Jack & Jill Orama master tapes to DVDs. These new DVDs have great quality and will last for many years. Special pricing of only $50 per 3-DVD set.
